ARTIST STATEMENT
My background is in visual storytelling - press photography and picture editing for news organisations in London.
Analogue collage is an exciting and different way for me of telling stories and letting my imagination run wild.
Sourcing new material for collages is a big part of the enjoyment process - bold colour, high contrast portraits of film stars from the forties and fifties feature a lot in my work.
I’m enjoying learning all the time, trying out new ideas, exploring new themes and most of all letting my imagination lead the way.
BIO
I grew up in Guernsey in the Channel Islands and now live in London with my husband and two daughters.
I have an MA degree in Photojournalism from the University of Westminster and also work as a freelance press photographer covering events such as London Fashion Week for PA Images and EMPICS Entertainment.
