Robin Rivers is a Canadian mixed-media artist.
Her collage practice emerged from her background as a writer and storyteller. Drawing from archival materials—vintage postcards, architectural drawings, letters, and poetry—Rivers layers found photography with her original images to reconstruct cultural memory.
Her visual work investigates the gaps in public archives, particularly how war and marginalization create absences in documented history. Influenced by her Polish, French, and Canadian heritage and the fragile nature of family archives, Rivers treats memory as an active process of reimagining. Her collages examine how stories and images travel between people and across generations through technologies of circulation.
