ARTIST STATEMENT
Death and rebirth, strength and vulnerability, angst and ease. My art tells tales of contradictions, of life as a constant motion of coming together and falling apart in a world of opposites. I am inspired by contrast: beauty, ugliness, solitude, chaos, travel, color, order, changeability, moments of fleeting magic and giving a second life to forgotten things.
I am a mixed media artist who combines drawing, painting and photography. I use oils, acrylics, watercolor, vintage paper and posters, glue and scissors on paper and canvas. I like to re-use existing materials to create a second life in my art.

She starts her work with photographs, prints or drawings and uses bold colors in either large or miniature artworks as a reflection on the idea of opposites.
Enid is currently based in Florence, Italy and the beauty of her surroundings but also the impermanence and solitude of life are expressed in her art. Her work is characterized by her unique blend of different media. She has showcased her work worldwide and has private collectors globally.
