happy birthday to us
THREE YEARS PARIS COLLAGE COLLECTIVE
& a givaway

It’s that time of the year again. PCC is celebrating its third birthday. The terrible twos are over. We are almost out of our toddler years. And we’ve grown a lot. Aside from another 52 creative challenges and a number of open calls, we managed to publish not just one but two yearbooks, hosted a series of art therapy open studios, and organized our first real life collage meet-up (a big thank you to Puck, Jennifer, Julia, Isabelle and the rest of the team, and to the Doug + Laurie Kanyer Art Collection for all their support).
With Covid currently somewhat under control – fingers crossed it stays that way – we hope to be able to continue like that, and to finally have that big collage exhibition that everyone is dreaming about. Next year...
I want to thank you all for being a part of this community and thereby keeping it alive. This wouldn’t be possible without you.

To celebrate Paris Collage Collective and our third birthday, we, together with Laurie from the Doug + Laurie Kanyer Art Collection, will give away five copies of Collage Care - Transforming Emotions and Life Experiences with Collage.
For a chance to win a copy, please follow these instructions:
Your collages – as always as many as possible – will be shared here on our website, on our main Instagram account on the day of our anniversary, and then during the rest of the month on PCC.ultd
We will draw five lucky winners out of the proverbial digital hat by November 28th. They will be announced by the end of November and should get their copy just in time for Christmas.
And last but not least, a little reminder that PCC is self-funded and non-profit. Running the challenges, updating the website, and looking for collaborations and opportunities take a lot of time, and neither the website nor the URL come for free. So if you find any joy or inspiration here, please consider signing up to the Artist Directory or making a small Donation. Thank you!
For a chance to win a copy, please follow these instructions:
- create a birthday collage for PCC – no theme or image prompt, anything goes, but creative self-portraits are as always particularly welcome – and post it on your Instagram account with the hashtag #pccbday3
- in your post’s caption, tell us what making art in general and collage in particular means to you
- tag one friend who you think should know about Paris Collage Collective, the Doug + Laurie Kanyer Art Collection, and Collage Care, both the book and the idea behind it
- follow the Kanyer Art Collection on Instagram
